New ways of fighting a
new wave of forest pests

Dear Colleagues,

You are invited to join us for the final conference of the IMPACT project at the Bangor University where the latest advances in the fight against forest pests developed by the project team will be revealed.

IMPACT, the EU Interreg IVA Project which has been assessing how forest pests are likely to respond to climate change and developing Integrated Pest Management programmes to combat those pests, was granted a six month extension and a significant new body of work on important forest pests has been completed.

So please make a note in your diary now and register your interest with - Tom.Owen@forestry.gsi.gov.uk - to be sure of a place at this event

I hope you are able to join us in Bangor. A full invitation with further details will be issued shortly but in the meantime, please contact me if you would like any further information.

With best wishes,
Hugh Evans, Coordinator of IMPACT
