Keeping woodlands in Wales and Ireland healthy

Research

IMPACT is primarily a research-led project, assessing how changing climate will influence the damage to our trees and forests by pests, some already here and others potentially brought here through international trade. The project's integrated approach aims to predict which pests are most likely to affect our trees and developing sustainable methods for detection and management. It is led by Forest Research in Wales, Aberystwyth, with partners in the National University of Ireland, Maynooth and Swansea University]

Here you can find information about the individual projects supported by IMPACT as well as links to other related research and research organisations.

The project team have produced a number of publications which can be viewed online.
